What's the purpose of an org like ICANN whom oversee the creation and use of TLD's if a troop like MS can just create their own. I'm not oblective on a TLD like .GBL (Dot Global) but then please do follow established procedures. The internet is based on all participants following the set RFC's.

Going to miss the site, but I can completely understand your reasons. As long as I get to read stuff you write, I won't harass you about it. *grins*

Ironically though, looking back at unpleasant stuff that happened in the past makes my current position feel more enjoyable and positive. Maybe that's why?

I write, in part, to feel a connection to my younger self, the one who wrote those words. You will become a different person, one you won't even recognize as you. And that person will wonder what you were like.

Words can help with that.

Though there are things I wrote as a teenager I have never dared to read since. I don't know if I ever want to know that person. But maybe my kids will, after I am gone.

Kinda sobering to think that every Singapore man is trained in both armed and unarmed fighting...

Keep your spirits up! It will be over before you know it.

At least you got to enjoy some movies and some (albeit brief) chattering with friends.

You know in those lonely times you should be poking me when you're able!

*HUGS*

I have theory that playing video games sharpens a lot of skills... including making one a better shot :)

You're not the first one that pointed out that video games might have helped. Another friend of mine pointed out that years of playing FPS games have helped me "spot the odd pixel".

About surviving training, I don't know to be honest. Two years is an extremely long time, and I've been having a lot of mood instabilities as of late, to the point whereby I've been considering seeing a psychiatrist.

It's that video game training paying off :)

You sound in better spirits this week. Think you might survive training after all?

Of course, then there's the next two years to get through, but this will be the worst of it.
